Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full sales cycle for sweater/knit categories, including client engagement, order confirmation, production follow-up, and shipment.
- Coordinate closely with factories to monitor manufacturing progress, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery with consistent quality.
- Lead and manage the merchandising team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, delivering professional account management and customer service.
- Work with product development teams to introduce new yarns, styles, and innovations that align with market trends and client needs.
- Negotiate competitive prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers and factories to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze sales performance, forecasts, and market opportunities to support strategic business growth.
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of solid experience in sweater/knit garment merchandising or sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of yarns, spinning, knitting, dyeing, and finishing processes.
- Excellent command of English and Mandarin; Cantonese proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to manage direct communication with international customers.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and independent, with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently to factories in Cambodia.
