ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Reports to: Head of HR
We are supporting a long-established multinational organization in Vietnam to appoint a Head of Total Rewards as part of a major post-acquisition integration and transformation agenda.
This is a senior, high-impact role reporting directly to the Head of HR, with close exposure to regional and local leadership.
Role overview
You will lead the Total Rewards agenda for a large and complex organization, with a clear mandate to standardize, harmonize, and future-proof compensation & benefits practices.
This role requires a leader who can balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution, and who is credible with senior business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic Total Rewards roadmap, with long-term vision up to 5–10 years
- Lead post-merger harmonization of salary structures, grading, benefits, and reward frameworks
- Oversee integration of multiple HR systems
- Drive annual salary review, incentive, and bonus cycles
- Design retention programs and compensation frameworks for restructuring scenarios
- Ensure robust governance of payroll and C&B operations
- Lead and develop the Total Rewards team
- Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders on workforce cost, competitiveness, and risk
Candidate Profile
- Senior Total Rewards leader (Head / Director level)
- Strong strategic capability beyond pure operations
- Proven experience in large-scale organizations, transformation, or post-merger integration
- High business acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Industry background open
- Fluent English required
